He is survived by: his children, Patty Carter (Ted) of Fishers, IN and Terry Wells (Cathy) of Atlanta, IN; his brother Jerry Wells (Marilyn) of Jamestown, KY.; his grandson Shea Wells (Shirenna); and his great grandchildren, Raea, Daya and Lilly.
