It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Kent Bowmer of Jamestown, Kentucky, born in Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Meredith and Opal Lee Combest Bowmer; his daughter Kelly Bowmer; and his sister Betty Lou Branscum. He is survived by: his sons, Billy Bowmer (Jana) of Jamestown and Barry Bowmer (Karen) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, John Michael Bowmer (Sabrina), Christopher Bowmer (Sally), Cody Lawson (Kayleigh), Brian Lawson (Alex) and Lauren Wallace. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
