With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerelene Ballenger Cummings of Jamestown, Kentucky, who passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jerelene Ballenger shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jerelene Ballenger farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Kimbler Ballenger and Larue Ballenger; and her daughter Tarcia Michelle Cummings. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Cummings of Jamestown, KY.; her grandson Noah Cummings (Emily); and her nieces and nephews, Laverne Hadley, Donnie Powell, Calvin Powell, Sherry Powell and Stevie Ballenger.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rockhouse Christian Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
