It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hill of Jamestown, Kentucky, born in Nome, Alaska, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hill and Mary Dotson Hill; his granddaughter Kinley Paige Brandt; and his son-in-law Jordan LaFavers. He is survived by: his wife Tawnya Watkins Hill of Jamestown; his children, Carl Hill of Covington, Aaron Abney of Russell Springs, Betty Hill of Russell Springs, Kelly Newby (Bryan) of Russell Springs, Katie Noe (Joshua) of Russell Springs, Rebecca LaFavers of Russell Springs and Bonnie Cravens (Lucas) of Liberty; his brother Willis Hill (Laura) of Beaverton, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Jessica Kilpatrick, Amber Carmen, Ashley Mardis, Samantha Burchett, Lauryn Abney, Taylor Abney, Alyviah Newby, Addacin Hill, Kason Hill, Kagen Brandt, Kynadie Brandt and Nolan LaFavers; and his great grandchildren, Patience Calhoun, Harmony Hodge, Braydyn Burchett, Taylynn Burchett, Aubrey Kilpatrick, Elizabeth Carmen, Abby Carmen, Chevy Carmen, Noah Burchetta and Mira Bieber.

Due to COVID restrictions, funeral services will be held privately for family only at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Caleb Shirley officiating.
