Gilbert Knight Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Knight of Jamestown, Kentucky, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fannie Mae (Cundiff) and Winfield Scott Knight; his former wife Joyce Knight; his daughter Sherry Knight; and his siblings, Mildred Rexroat and Bradley Knight.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Knight (Blakey); his daughters, Pat Napier and Kim Stadler of Oregonia, OH; his stepsons, Roger Shearer, Mitchell Shearer of Jamestown, KY and Phillip Shearer of Somerset; and his brother Marlin Knight. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren.
