With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Aaron of Jamestown, Kentucky, who passed away on March 23, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edith may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Shaw and Edra Smith Shaw; her husband James Aaron; and her daughter Judy Aaron. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Aaron of Jamestown, Wendy Weiand of Russell Springs and Carol Roy (Charlie) of Russell Springs; her brother Keith Grider of Jamestown; her grandchildren, David Weiand, Melissa McGowan and Jeremy Roy; and her sister-in-law Fannie Shaw of Russell Springs. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A reception was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bernard Funeral Home (367 Main St, Russell Springs, KY 42642).
