It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Catharine Dix of Jamestown, Kentucky, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Benthal and Mary Ellen Hogan Jackson; her husband James Richard; her son Thomas Michael; and her brothers, Lawrence Jackson, Stephen Jackson, James Leroy Jackson and Kenneth Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, James Richard, Deborah Mangan (Michael) of Westminster, Karen Gouran (Robert Dalton) of Magnolia, Sandra, Tamera Pyles (Mitchell) of Russell Springs and Lara Keith (Michael) of Russell Springs; and her brother Ronald Jackson of Easley. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
