She was predeceased by: her parents, Sethie Shepherd and Gertie Holt Shepherd; her husband Wayne Beard; her son Danny Wayne Beard; and her siblings, Robert Shepherd, James Shepherd, Gerald Shepherd (Teen), Audrey Pike, Margaret Griffin, Louise Harden and Gladys Roy (Elaine).
She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne Flatt of Russell Springs and Sondra Marcum (Mitchell) of Jamestown; her brother Alan Shepherd (Terry) of Spirit Lake, Idaho; and her grandchildren, Michelle Smurthwaite (Gregg) of Grove City, Cheryl Robertson (David) of Russell Springs, Maria Bell (Tommy) of Berry, Julie Flatt Wade of Lexington, Elizabeth Marcum Abrell of Russell Springs, Joshua Marcum (Whitney) of Jamestown and Ricky Ward of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
