He was predeceased by: his parents, Rader Combs and Gertrude Howard Combs; his daughter Beverly Ann Combs; his granddaughter Jessica Renee Howard; and his siblings, Lloyd Combs, Foster Combs, Burnis Combs, Lonnie Combs, Lula Faye Stamper, Margie Leadingham and Wanda Lasley.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Lee Combs, Gregory Van Combs (JoAnne), Wyamon Mark Combs, Mary Lynne Combs, Sandra Kaye Phipps (John) and Angela Renee Combs (Ricky); his brother Carl Combs; and his grandchildren, Wyamon Jason Combs, Natasha Renee Ashley, Michael Mitchell, Joshua Clyde Howard, Aaron Michael Combs, Johnathan Jordan Elwood Phipps and Makendra Marie Faith Phipps. He is also survived by great grandchildren; host of nephews and nieces.
