He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Begley and Rose Melton; his siblings, Bobby Gene Begley, Wilma Dotson and Joyce Couch; and his son-in-law Clyde Gerall Prater.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Begley (Lucinda), Ronnie Begley Jr. (Linda), Charlene Prater (Earl), Ronda Purdon (Ronald), Deloris Fugate (Eddie) and Kathy Dotson (Randy); his sisters, Emma Opblinger and Lorraine Hoskins; and his close friends, John Hoskins, Kelly Noble Jr. and Aldo Combs. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home (409 KY-15, Jackson, KY 41339). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
