He is survived by: his parents, Roger Mitchell (Della Howard) and Phillip Mitchell; his close friend Kathy Crank; his sons, Michael Mitchell (Natasha), Roger Mitchell (Kelsea), Phillip Noah Mitchell of Kevin Clay and Mitchell; his grandchildren, Michael Mitchell III, Kaelynn Young, Braelynn Mitchell, Emily Mitchell, Eli Mitchell and Amelia Mitchell; his sister Iris Tackett (Patrick); his stepbrother Dale Howard (Tina); and his aunts and uncles, Brenda Crouse (Bernie), Janet Combs, Joe Raleigh and Gary Howard. He is also survived by first cousins and other family and friends.
