She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Clell Miller and Ollie Bryant Miller; her husband Seldon Prater; and her siblings, Reverend Clell Miller, Jr., Shelby Miller, Louise Miller and Alvonia Gabbard.

She is survived by: her son Brian Seldon Prater (Carrie) of Elizabethtown, KY.; and her granddaughters, Claire Prater and Avery Prater. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel (15 Deaton Ln, Jackson, KY 41339). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
