She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Hughes and Lottie Henson Hughes; her husband Eddie Wayne McKinney; her sons, Douglas McKinney and Baxter Dale Gwin; her grandson Alex Hudson; and her siblings, Donnie Hughes, Roy Hughes, Ronnie Hughes, Annie Sue Noble and Bessie Combs.
She is survived by: her children, Tony McKinney of Jackson, KY., Arnold Gwin (Roxanne Hurley) of Jackson, KY., Pauline Hudson (Phillip) of Jackson, KY. and Ada Gwin of Jackson, KY.; her siblings, Bobby Neace (Brenda) of Jackson, KY., Brenda Taulbee (Berlin Glenn) of Jackson, KY., Hannah Elam of Jackson, KY. and Rosie Ellis (Ronald) of Jackson, KY.; and her grandchildren, Isabella McKinney, Cheyanna Gwin, Brianna Gwin, Mercedes Gwin, Bekah Gwin, Abigail Lovens, Aaron Hudson, Jaxon Gwin and Memphis Brewer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel (15 Deaton Ln, Jackson, KY 41339).
