He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Taylor and Annie Perkins Taylor; and his siblings, Tom Taylor, Carl Taylor, Walter Taylor, Sam Taylor, Raymond Taylor, Infant Nora Taylor, Dorothy Jackson and Mary Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Coleman Taylor; his children, Ron (Carla Taylor), Kenny (Missy Taylor) of Versailles, Wilma Taylor of Pikeville, Debbie Robinson of Pikeville, Liz Taylor of Pikeville, Wanda (Elver Ratliff) of Richmond and Emily Reed of Berea; his grandchildren, Cristy Robinson, Lauren (Zack Wheeler), Ross Taylor, Jonathan Ratliff, Colby (Macey Taylor), Nick Taylor, Austin Taylor, Coleman Reed, Cora Reed, Wiley Reed and Bentley Keene; his great grandchildren, Taylor Putty, Kayla Putty and Chloe Putty; and his brother Ralph (Tina Taylor).
