She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Ison and Hattie Adams Ison; and her siblings, Agnes Terrill, Venus Amburgey, Vedis Combs, Hargis Ison, Danis Ison, Delmus Ison, Betty Breeding, Clarence Ison and Jeff Ison Jr..

She is survived by: her sister Ann Wallace. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky.
