Bennett was predeceased by: parents, Linza Breeding and Oma Hammonds Breeding; daughter Carolyn Sue Breeding; and siblings, Elmer Breeding, Jack Breeding, Bobby Joe Breeding, Mary Elizabeth Johnson and Dolly Lotierzo.

Bennett is survived by: wife Carol Mullins Breeding; son Timothy Bennett Breeding (Brandy) of Stamping Ground; brother Billy Ray Breeding of Corbin; and grandchildren, Colby, Brooklyn and Cullen.
