He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Melvin and Ethel Marie Howell Markwell; and his daughter Cindy Markwell. He is survived by: his wife Sue Markwell; his son Tim Markwell; his grandchildren, Emily Bolton, Brad Markwell (Jessica) and Blake Markwell (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Barrett Markwell, Marley Jackson, Thea Louise Markwell, Kyri Cortte, T. J. Johnson and Faithe Johnson; his son-in-law Kenny Wilson; and his nephew Larry Haley of Island.
