She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bailey and Ruby Berry Bailey; her husband G. E. Hughes; and her son G. B. Hughes. She is survived by: her former spouse Glendol Edward Hughes; her children, Mike Hughes of Calhoun, Vicki Howell (Joe) of Island, Tracy Pannell of Alvaton and Lynn Braden (Mark) of Fuquay-Varina; and her siblings, Jerry Bailey of Greenville and Marilyn Kirtley of Greenville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
