She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Ethel Mae Everly Jarvis; and her husband Charles W. McElwain. She is survived by: her children, Michael W. McElwain (Nancy) of Madisonville and Mary Ellington of Hanson; and her grandchildren, DeeDee Boyken, Justin Nolan, Elissa Capps, Celia McGuire and Ami-Jordan Robertson. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.
