He was predeceased by: his parents, William Allen and Hallie Elizabeth Howell Powell; and his brother Gerald Powell. He is survived by: his wife Paula Powell; his children, Deeayne Mayfield (Randy) of Owensboro and Jason Powell (Caroline) of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Garrett Mayfield, Hallie Mayfield, Owen Powell, Isabelle Powell and Easton Powell; and his sisters, Janice Shutt (John) of Russellville and Margaret Turner (Jim) of Island. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a special friend.
