She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Brown and Elvie Ford Brown; her husband Blinky Whitaker; her daughter Becky Wells; her son-in-law Ron Wells; and her grandchildren, Heather Wells and Justin Whitaker.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Whitaker of Greenville and Dennie Whitaker (Karen) of Island; her grandchildren, Lindsey Ewing (Roger), Tosha Gilpin (Ty), Whitney Parker (Anthony), Randi Whitaker (Sam Coots), Katlyn Edwards (Hank), Sawyer Whitaker, Madison Whitaker and Austin Whitaker; and her sister Marcella Ford of Owensboro. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
