He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene and Anna Louise Hayes Daugherty; his daughter Karen Daugherty; and his siblings, Arnold, Robert, Harold Daugherty, Betty Nelson and Martha Daugherty.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Daugherty; his sons, Arthur Daugherty, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Livermore and Steven Daugherty (Tonia) of Hartford; and his sisters, Linda Deardurff (George) of Morocco and Zetta Bottom (John) of Beech Grove. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
