He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Beard and Lena May Foote; his daughter Mary Ann Carpenter; his son-in-law Larry Crisp; and his brothers, P. B. Foote, Jr., Ernest Foote and Hammon Foote.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Foote; his children, Martha Crisp of Guston, KY, John L. Foote (Cathi) of Irvington, KY and Jean Thompson (Rick) of Brandenburg, KY; and his brother Wallace Foote of Irvington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
