He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Burkhart; his brothers, Bobby, Gerald and Wilbert Burkhart; and his sisters-in-law, Mamie and Ada Burkhart.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Ann Lee Burkhart; his son Tim Burkhart (Missy); his grandson Will Burkhart; and his sister-in-law Juanita Burkhart.
