She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Durham and Geneva Isaacs Durham; her husband Ova "Toad" Abney; her stepson Ova Abney Jr.; her children, Waveline Gabbard, Tina Henry and Jimmy Thacker; her stepsons, Ricky Abney, Bobby Abney, Bill Abney and Scotty Abney; and her siblings, Ruby Powell, Glanna Pearson, Lucille Durham and Bennie Durham.
She is survived by: her son Donnie Thacker (Madison Co); and her son-in-law Wayne Henry. She is also survived by her parents and husband.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel (99 Cedar Grove Rd, Irvine, KY 40336).
