He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Embs and Lucille Witt Embs; his wife Linda Lavon Scrivner Embs; his siblings, Henrietta Nyffler and Scottie Embs; his grandchildren, Rachael Roberts (Nick) and Ratisha Puckett (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Brennan Tuttle, Lukas Puckett, Shelby Puckett and Taylor Puckett; and his brothers, Shelby Embs, Herby Embs and Johnny "Hot Dog" Embs.
He is survived by: his daughter Shaye Roberts (Robbie); and his sister-in-law Tammy Pewitt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel (99 Cedar Grove Rd, Irvine, KY 40336).
