He is survived by: his wife Janet Cox Whitley; his daughters, Elizabeth Whitley (Bruce Ritchie) and Kaitlyn Whitley; his stepchildren, Jennifer Poynter (Stephen), Linda Yarbough (Zac), Tyler Burchfield (Audrey), Mayra Rawlings and Tre Burchfield; his brother Harold Whitley; his grandchildren, Becca Coldiron (Dylan), Faith Ayala (Devon), Bryler, Karmen, Hosea and Kayson Burchfield; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Stanfield and Waylon Coldiron.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home (112 N Walnut St, Cynthiana, KY 41031). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Battle Grove Cemetery (531 E Pike St, Cynthiana, KY 41031).
