She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Thomas and Margaret Richardson Thomas; her son William Williams; and her husband Jerry Finney. She is survived by: her children, Leah Williams and Christopher Williams; her grandchildren, Jason Williams, Lona Katherine Williams, Jacob Williams and Mason Williams; her sister Marilyn Drake; and her great grandchild Jovi Marton.
She served on the Tourism Board, the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital Foundation and worked as a Commissioner with the Housing Authority.
