He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin E. Wilson and Mary Lee Todd Wilson; and his siblings, Harry, Douglas and Geneva.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Rhodus Wilson; his children, Debra Kepka (Thomas), Joe Wilson (Janice), John Mark Wilson (Lisa) and Sam Wilson; and his sister Sue Bull (Carl). He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
