It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malvin Eugene Rogers (Irvine, Kentucky), born in Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Vernalene Rogers (Bowles); his daughter Tanya Kim Richardson (Rogers); his parents, Merritt Ivan and Nellie Mae Rogers (Pace); and his siblings, Mable Delphine Livesay (Rogers), Opal Olene Riley (Rogers), Barbara Nell Fisher (Rogers), Leonard Merritt Rogers, J. C. Mitchell Rogers and Ewing Palmore Rogers.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael A. Rogers (Demetria) and Dwight E. Rogers (Sherry); his son-in-law Wade Richardson; his grandchildren, Nicole Caudill, Matthew Rogers (Lori), Luke Rogers, Justin Rogers, Amanda Melton (Danny), Shawn Richardson (Leanna), Jeremy Richardson (Elizabeth) and Ryan Richardson (Morgan); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Isaac, Elijah, Timothy Rogers, Olivia Caudill, Shawn Hampton, Tanya, Kimberly, Brooklynn Richardson, Emelyn, Jaxson Melton, Lyrica Rogers, Abbigail, Nathaniel, Zachery Richardson, Callie, Banner Rogers and Shane Richardson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
