She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Sue Durham Burrough, Irvine, Marlene Durham McKinney, IrvineShelia Jo Durham (Jennifer Hitch) and Richmond; and her brothers, Charles Ermin Lakes, James "Joe" Lakes and Billy Ray Lakes. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home (99 Cedar Grove Road, Irvine, KY 40336). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
