He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Callie Dickerson Thacker; and his siblings, Daisy Lee Chester, Ollie Townsend, Mary Ellis Edwards, Elsie Johnson, Mildred Irene Greene Stamper, Howard Clinton Thacker, Charles Cupid Thacker and Glen Roy Thacker.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Kenneth Thacker (Marjorie), Ricky Thacker (Valerie) and Pulaski Co; and his brother James Ralph Thacker. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home (99 Cedar Grove Road, Irvine, KY 40336). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McQuinn Cemetery.
