She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Doty and Eddie Broaddus Doty; her husband Elmo Quinn Newton; and her siblings, Margaret West, Robert, Jimmy and Charles Doty.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Morgan (William), Rebecca Sheeks of Indiana, Charlotte Riggins (David) of Indiana, Anthony Quinn Newton (Jean Ellen) and Irvine David Newton (Marcia). She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren 18 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date due to Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice Care Plus or to the Gideon's.
