He is survived by: his sons, Park Allen Tevis, Greg Mays, Tony Garrett and Richard Garrett; his wife Doris Dean Garrett Tevis; his sister Phyllis Ann Freeman (Bill); his grandson Jeffrey Allen Tevis (Savanna); his niece Sheila Freeman; and his nephew Billy Earl Freeman.
