She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Caldwell and Laura Noble Caldwell; her husband Herbert Mays; her son William "Herbie" Mays; her siblings, Clover Dale Caldwell, Daisy Riley, Eugene, L. G. and Albert Caldwell; and her half-brothers, Vincent and Holt Caldwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dana M. Brady and Lana M. Horn (Mike); her sisters, Euvina Allen, Fayette Co, Phyllis Lovins and Oneida Bush of Ohio; her grandchildren, Leah Michelle Winkle (James), Laura Whitney Mays and James Michael Horn; and her great grandchildren, Abby Lynn Winkle and Emma Kate Winkle.
