He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Mays and Cleota Metcalf Mays; his wife Delphine Sparks Mays; and his son Tim Mays. He is survived by: his children, William Leon Mays, Stephen Mays (Helen), Pam Carpenter, Jerry and Michael Keith Mays (Joyce Ann). He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
