He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Lee Hamilton and Sarah Serena Carroll Hamilton; and his siblings, Hazel Kelly, Rosemary Estes, Charles Hamilton, Orvill Lee Hamilton, David Hamilton and Samuel Jr. Hamilton.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Lynn Brooks, Loretta Kay Stepp (Jeffrey), Billy Ray Hamilton and Jerry Wayne Hamilton; and his siblings, Eliza Jane Richardson, Betty Epperhart and James Hamilton.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 145 Rogers Ln, Irvine, KY 40336.
