It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Lee Dawes of Irvine, Kentucky, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, William Mack and Rachel Arvin Dawes; his devoted wife Edna Billings Dawes; his children, Myra Joyce Snyder (Dean); his granddaughter Kimberly Dawes Perry; and his siblings, William, Maurice Dawes, Evelyn Griffin, Thelma Hawkins, Mattie Bea Johnson and Nellie Macy. He is survived by his children Edward Lee Dawes (Mary) of Loveland, Ohio and Karen Michelle Colley (Tom) of Sterling Heights, Michigan; siblings Robert Joseph Dawes (Joyce) of St. Augustine and Shirley Jean Hardy (Leonard) of Irvine, Kentucky.. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, Five great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
