She is survived by : her daughter Rebecca Hood Simpson (Emmett); her daughter-in-law Patty Hood; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Ashley Hood-Morley (Robert) and Chelsea Hood Reece (Clay); and her niece Janie Stone (Ryan).

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home (99 Cedar Grove Road, Irvine, KY 40336). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (10 Cedar Grove Rd, Irvine, KY 40336).
