She was predeceased by: her spouse Ike Boyd Jr.; her parents, Willie Peters and Rhode Lynch Peters; her sons, David Roberts and Benjamin Roberts; and her siblings, T. J. Peters, Mafrey Mays, Haley Rosendbalm, Elbert Jamison, Monk Jamison, Charlie Jamison, Claude Jamison and Irene Ducan.
She is survived by: her children, Ike Boyd (Joni) and Alfred Jason Boyd; her grandchildren, Ashley Fox (Stephen), Ike Boyd IV (Drema), April Boyd, T. J. Boyd, Tyler Boyd (Samantha) and Tiffany Boyd; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Boyd, Charity Boyd, Emma Boyd and Haylee Boyd. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
