She was predeceased by: her parents, David Monk and Norma Monk; her daughter Tiffany Swords; and her brother Michael Monk. She is survived by: her husband Herman Swords; her children, Herman Swords II and Crystle Smith (David); and her sisters, Carol Wright (Jerry) and Linda Glass. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
