He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville B. Ousley and Alvie Stephens Ousley; his wife Verlon Edwards Ousley; and his brothers, Billy Ray Ousley and James Thomas Ousley.

He is survived by: his son Greg Ousley Somerset (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Katlin Ousley, Zachary Ousley and Luke Thomas OusleyIn.
