He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Newman; his children, Georginia Phillip Burnell, Maudellen Lakes, Angie Cheathan, Phillip David Martin, James Dudley Palmer and Phillip Allen Palmer of Tennessee; and his siblings, Claudia Jean Clark and Blaine Taylor Martin. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren.
