He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hensley and Mahala Hensley; and his brothers, John and Henry Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Debra Horn Hensley; his son Chalmer Hensley Jr.; his stepdaughters, Tina Carter, Smithfield, Trina Horn and Estill Co; his brother Willis Hensley; and his stepgrandchildren, Nicholas Ross and Jordon Ross.
