It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Lee Cackling Chaney of Irvine, Kentucky, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Kelly and Beulah Richardson Flynn; her children, Denise Sapp and Jerry Howe; and her sister Virginia Flynn Combs.
She is survived by: her husband Oakley E. Chaney; her son Robert Sipes; her siblings, Pat Maney (Bobby), Bill Flynn and Buddy Flynn (Janice); her stepchildren, Michael Ballard (Rene), Richard Cackling Jr. (Mary), Debra Longo, Joseph Cackling (Nancy), Susan Cackling, Thomas Cackling, Cheryl Ann Carlton, David Chaney (Libby), Rick Chaney (Kathy) and Debbie Marshall (John); and her granddaughters, Brittany Kelly (Dereck), Rachel McDuff (Joey) and Angie Sapp. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews and relatives and friends.
