With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavis Preece of Inez, Kentucky, born in Martin, Kentucky, who passed away on November 26, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ben Maynard; and her siblings, Alex Maynard, Chester Maynard, Bob Maynard, Mary Justice, Violet Harmon and Omie Adkins.
She is survived by: her husband Franklin Preece; her children, Franklin Preece, Jr. (Betty) of Inez, KY, Jerry Preece (Rose) of Louisa, KY and Helen Jude (Ronnie) of Inez, KY; her siblings, Richard Maynard of Kermit, WV, Rebecca Sartin of Logan, WV and Vina Sue Preece of Inez, KY.; and her grandchildren, Benjamin, Helen Joann, Dixie and Ashley. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
