She was predeceased by: her mother Juanita Dials; her daughter Abigail Smith; her granddaughter Carissa Adkins; and her sisters, Veronica Sue Branscome and Doris Ailes.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Smith; her children, Albert Smith, Jr. of Inez, KY, Lou Adkins (George) of Asheboro, NC, Betty Jo Richmond (Randy, Jr.) of Thelma, KY and Rebecca Ramey (Willard) of Blaine, KY; her sisters, Monica Knowlton of Lawrence County, KY, Rhonda Bucy of Buckeye Lake, OH and Diana Hensley of Star, NC.; and her grandchildren, Codey, Hunter, Deanna, Hailey, Abigail, Jamie, Montana, Brandon, Mark and Mason. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
