He was predeceased by: his father Fred Mills; and his siblings, Carl Mills (Helen), Lewis Mills (Martha), Henry Mills (Nell), Richard Mills (Ruby), Floyd Mills (Vicie), Fred Mills, Jr. (Dora Lee), Elmer Mills, Bessie Whitt (Dave), Goldie Hobbs (James), Catherine (John), Horn Frederick (Allen), Georgia Mills, Thelma Horn (Auxier) and Ruth Whitt (Mikie).
He is survived by: his mother Cora Hammonds Mills; his wife Juanita Mills (Dalton); his brother Charles Mills (Rheta); his children, Gladys Parsons (Michael), James Mills (Tina), Virgil Mills (Pam), Freddie Mills (Tammy) and Phillip Mills (Ron); and his grandchildren, Tiffany Crum (Thomas), Brandon Parsons, Kayla Stewart (Jerald), Amanda Buschle (TJ), Brett Mills (Heather), Ann Glover (Adam), Alexandria Mills, Eric Mills, Joseph Mills, Nathan Mills (Savannah) and Lakin Marr (Eric). He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
