He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGinnis and Judy McGinnis (Goble); his siblings, John McGinnis, Stanley McGinnis and Phyllis McCoy; and his niece Michelle McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gail McGinnis (Alley) of Inez, KY; his siblings, Darwin McGinnis (Opal) of Tomahawk, KY, Jamie McGinnis (Kim) of Johnson County, KY, Lynn Bowen (Melvin) of Tennessee and Fran Stepp (Blaine) of Inez, KY; his nephews, Jeff McGinnis, Will McCoy, Brian McCoy, Scott McGinnis, Cliff McGinnis, Marc McGinnis, Wes McGinnis, Eric McGinnis and Chris Bowen; and his niece Judy Ann Bowen (Stepp).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Crum Funeral Home (498 New Rte 3, Inez, KY 41224). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
