Franklin Preece Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Preece of Inez, Kentucky, born in Martin, Kentucky, who passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Preece and Rosie Delong Preece; his wife Mavis Preece; and his siblings, Lonnie Preece, Harold Preece, Glenn Ray Preece, Howard Preece, Jr., Daniel Boone Preece, James Buddy Preece, Fern Carty, Sharon Winchester, Corrine Ellis and Faye Marcum.

He is survived by: his children, Franklin Preece, Jr. (Betty) of Inez, KY, Jerry Preece (Rose) of Louisa, KY and Helen Jude (Ronnie) of Inez, KY; his siblings, Donnie Preece (Wanda) of Inez, KY and Verna McKenzie of Florida; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Helen Joann, Dixie and Ashley. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
